Electric auxiliary pump fault Rolls-Royce recalled in the United States

The national highway traffic safety administration in its recall report pointed out that the electric auxiliary pump circuit board may overheat, the resulting power station pumps or nacelle smoldering fire and lead to vehicles. All recalled vehicles are equipped with a turbocharged engine. It is reported that recently a similar problem for BMW recalled 32084, 2008-2011 model.

Rolls-Royce NHTSA said, at present has not received any incident report, Rolls-Royce is by BMW's internal quality control analysis and processing is aware of the existence of the hidden trouble. BMW's global 102 pump failure report, received two fire engine compartment.

Recall is due to start this month, Rolls-Royce dealer will replace hidden vehicle auxiliary pump.
